Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes, but are not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned. - Perform varied and complex duties and tasks related to service, repair and general maintenance of high speed robotic and automation - Perform electrical repairs to machines and equipment. Diagnose electrical/electronic malfunctions, troubleshoot microprocessors. - Installation, wiring, and programming PLC’s for smaller in house automation systems. - Work with vendors during installs, modifications and offsite support - Work with and support maintenance technicians and process technicians during machine downtime activities. - Technical support with engineering and vendors during design stage thru project completion. - Write and program camera vision systems to manufacture quality parts. - Continuous improvement to automation systems to increase throughput, reduce scrap and reduce down time.
