The Home provides care and services to residents living independently, as well as to those requiring personal, assisted living, intermediate and skilled care. Has the authority to assign work and recommendations on personnel actions. Functions as a working supervisor, participates in and supervises subordinate personnel in the preparation and serving of food and cleaning of equipment, utensils, and food service areas as well as performing simple cooking tasks. Work product consists of a functioning work unit; may be involved in work schedules; food prepared for cooking or serving; food properly portioned following safety and sanitation requirements, written records and reports.
