Production Planner

Job description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: - Develop and manage integrated production plans across make‑to‑stock, make‑to‑order, and engineered‑to‑order streams. - Balance customer demand, inventory targets, capacity, cost, and service requirements. - Plan and schedule production in line with labour, material, and testing capacity. - Coordinate materials, lead times, and capacity while managing short‑term priorities and plan changes. - Track order progress and proactively mitigate risks to on‑time delivery. - Partner with Engineering, Projects, Sales, Procurement, and Manufacturing to support standard and customised valve solutions. - Execute and analyse SAP MRP runs and manage production orders end‑to‑end, including creation, release, rescheduling, and closure. - Resolve MRP exceptions such as material shortages, capacity constraints, and rescheduling challenges. - Support inventory optimisation across raw materials, work‑in‑progress, and finished goods. - Communicate production status, capacity constraints, and delivery risks clearly and proactively. - Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, data accuracy, and production flow. - Contribute to continuous improvemen...
