Contact ZelTech Recruiters for questions concerning this matter. ** Job Summary: Zel Tech is seeking a highly qualified Bioinformatics Data Scientist that will provide SME support to our government customer in Charlottesville, Virginia. Responsibilities: Requirements: - Directs and guides DNA/RNA sequence database searches and the computational analysis of resulting data. - Implements end-users’ needs in database searching and integration. - Maintains the computational infrastructure and controls the flow of samples and information for large-scale studies. - Provides web-based bioinformatics and access to public and proprietary relational databases. - Develops and applies computational tools. Works in collaboration with drug discovery project - Provides direct support for bioinformatics, regex queries, developing and searching key words and biological ontologies. - Focused data discovery and retrieval from given datasets. - Accurately documents and maintains detailed records of activities to assure achievement of customer driven requirements. - Interface heavily with principal investigators, support staff...
