Worker Type Regular: Job Description: Summary: The primary role of the System Administrator is to manage and support mission-critical IT infrastructure. This role involves day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance across Windows and LINUX systems. You’ll work directly with both hardware and software systems in a dynamic, multi-platform environment. Position Responsibilities: - Provide Tier I and II IT support and problem resolution. - Manage client/server/storage/network infrastructure. - Configure and manage Linux and Windows systems. - Support vulnerability management using Nessus. - Maintain POA&Ms and patch systems based on security and functional parameters. - Collaborate with hardware vendors on system specs and refreshes. - Analyze escalated issues and provide actionable feedback. Basic Qualifications: - Comptia Security+ or equivalent DoD/DoW 8570/8140 certification - Minimum 7+ years of system administration experience - Strong RedHat Linux and Windows troubleshooting skills - Familiarity with Nessus, POA&Ms, and NIST requirements - Experience configuring LINUX and Windows environments - An active TS/SCI DoD clearance Other Qualifications & Desired Competenci...
