Job Description: The Groundsman is a member of a construction team that is responsible for trenching, plowing, and placing communication cable , fiber optic cable, conduits and other associated facilities. Job Responsibilities: -Removes and replaces sod on easements. - Opens trenches, backfills and compacts trenches using hand tools and power equipment. - Pulls cable and wire through trenches and structural areas of buildings. Qualifications: Position Requirements: -Proven track record of working outdoors in a physically demanding environment -Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with coworkers -Be at least 18 years old -Utility Construction experience a plus Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour - Must have a basic command of the English language to understand the safety requirements of the position
