Senior Production Development Engineer (AIT Industrialization) (all genders)

Job description

None You will design and build the adaptive serial production system that enables reliable, repeatable satellite builds at an increasing rate. Your focus is on industrialization: developing the plan, facilities, tooling/test infrastructure, standardized processes, and readiness gates needed to transition from prototype builds to serial production. Scope note: This role is focused on planning and developing the production system (facility, tooling, processes, readiness). It does not (yet) own day-to-day production execution, shift/output management, or line leadership. As the production system matures and output ramps up, this role can evolve into a Production Manager/Head of Production-type position, with day-to-day execution and leadership of the production organization, depending on company needs and your interest.
