Hillcrest Children & Family Center is looking for a mission-driven Certified Addiction Counselor I (CAC I) to join our clinical team. At Hillcrest, we don’t just offer services. As a CAC I, you are at the center of our clinical mission. You will be the steady hand for clients navigating addiction, providing the tools and advocacy they need to reclaim their lives. Key Responsibilities: Educational Requirements: . - Facilitate impactful individual counseling sessions and lead treatment groups that address both addiction and related mental health challenges. - Collaborate with key partners, including the DC court system, DYS, and CFSA, to ensure your clients have a voice and access to every necessary resource. - Manage the critical transition to inpatient facilities for clients requiring intensive care. - Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop 90-day pe...
