Description JOB DESCRIPTION: Precepts new staff and students. Masters concepts of hemodynamics. Should have intermediate knowledge of x-ray equipment and troubleshooting. Able to assist with circulating role as needed. Troubleshoots imaging equipment collaborating with biomedical engineers for service. Participate in procedural charging. Maintains supply management. Able to act quickly under emergency situations. Able to discuss with physician plan of action and assist with any high-risk procedures. Cross-trains as needed to support departmental needs. Monitors cases. Understands and works with x-ray system, including panning table and recognizing different angles. Manages access site including proper removal of sheath, assessment of hematoma and knowledge of hematoma management. Understands concepts of radiation safety. Knowledgeable in coronary anatomy and recognizing different types of lesions. Basic knowledge of supply features and applications to procedure. Knowledge and adherence to sterile technique.
