Description This is a full time position with GNS Electric Inc. The Journeyman Electrician E-6 participates in the construction, installation, alterations, additions, modifications, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, conductors, facilities, and equipment within the electrical construction industry. The Journeyman Electrician E-6 must be able to perform all electrical tasks with general supervision. This role may be part of a crew or act as the lead person directing a crew and should have the ability to direct less experienced apprentices and helpers. Primary Responsibilities: - Responsible for supervising and working with a crew - Capable of installation of all types of electrical work - Capable of troubleshooting motors, controls, circuits, and equipment - Efficient in the areas of layout and blueprints - Possesses the knowledge to rig and set up for all locations - Possesses basic theory knowledge - Responsible for positively identifying wire colors - Responsible for reading, comprehending, and drawing prints and schematics - Responsible for bending conduit using hand benders - Responsible for using power tools, saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, and kn...
