Sr. Transportation Coordinator

Job description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Heavy customer/carrier interaction and communication daily via phone and/or email - Lead client business reviews & advise support teams on business requirements - Mentor & train other Transportation Coordinators as required - Utilize TMS technology to build and execute truckload, LTL, international, and hotshot movements for clients - Resolve and track customer complaints and issues - Provide data interpretation and cleansing as required - Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) as required - Support the client billing process & resolve disputes - Extensive use of email technology to sort, respond, assign, and action emails as required - Monitor loads for exception and manage exceptions to closure - Provide support to the carrier billing process & work to through any discrepancies - Provide decision support for exception management during afterhours via page as needed - Route and tender shipments using enabling technologies and business processes to ensure maximum value to customers and Crane, as required - Utilize methods and procedures to achieve process compliance and organization goals - Provide feedback and recommendations to drive continuous im...
