Description DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY, OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY is seeking an outstanding scientist to fill a full-time, Assistant Professor , tenure track position in Social Psychology beginning August, 2024. Scholars who specialize in social neuroscience and/or evolutionary approaches to social behavior are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates will be expected to serve as a research mentor for doctoral students, to supervise undergraduate research, and to provide quality classroom instruction for both graduate and undergraduate courses. Typical teaching load is two courses per semester. As part of the teaching load, the successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in social psychology at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Candidates are expected to have a strong background in and dedication to scholarly activity, and to interact well with colleagues and students.
