Job description

This part-time internship is a hybrid role located in Florida and will be up to 25 hours per week. You will report to the Program Manager, Florida. This internship will run from June 1-August 15. Common Cause is seeking an intern to work with our Florida team relating to voting and elections, redistricting, and democracy reform. In this role you will assist with advocacy campaigns, grassroots engagement, research, policy development, communications, and/or member outreach and events. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a commitment to a fair and transparent democracy, and who is interested in learning more about government affairs and the legislative process. Qualifications: - Support and, when appropriate, lead components of student-focused Election Protection engagement efforts, including coordinating with campus-based student organizations to execute public education campaigns and organizing events in collaboration with partner organizations. - Assist in planning and implementing voter education initiatives leading up to the August 2026 primary elections, with a focus on accessible, nonpartisan information dissemination. - Provide operational and technical suppor...
