Job description

R&D Spec II YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: You will work collaboratively with the Sample Prep Lab Supervisor and other lab team members. Additionally, you will deliver daily and weekly lab targets under tight deadlines, identifying opportunities for system or process improvements, operating equipment, and perform lab experiments in alignment with Plant Biotechnology goals and objectives. The primary responsibilities of this role, R&D Specialist II, are to: - Complete various lab experiments and processes in alignment with the weekly work queue provided by the lab supervisor; - Coordinate and evaluate orders to ensure proper sample preparation, labeling, packaging, and documentation compliance; - Solve problems of moderate scope, independently or with team members; - Analyze results of lab experiments or processes under supervision; - Operate and troubleshoot lab instrumentation and perform lab equipment maintenance; - Partner with the Sample Prep Lab Supervisor to deliver the best customer experience while ensuring required processes are properly executed; - Contribute to the maintenance of inventory and storage of samples according to work instructions; - Maintain detailed recor...
