Envision Imaging is adding a Multi-Modality Technologist to our Denton, TX location! Monday/Friday 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM + Saturday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM | Position Pay Range $37.55 - $48.42 Summary/Objective: Performs MRI procedures, CT and X-Ray examinations according to protocol and age-specific needs, including patient preparation. Positions patient and performs scans using proper technical factors, maintains and monitors patient environment, adheres to safety procedures and contributes to the security and maintenance of the unit. Essential Functions: 1. Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image. 2. Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc. 3. Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation. 4. Performs exams while attending to patient’s care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient’s condition changes at any time. 5.
