Job Description: The Associate Director, Community-Engaged Data and Evaluation Collaborative (CEDEC) is responsible for the oversight, strategy and management of a community engagement initiative aimed at achieving mutual benefit to Brown University’s educational mission and the capacity of community partners to advance their goals through data and evaluation projects. CEDEC connects Brown University courses, internships and practica, training, related programs, and additional staff and faculty resources to make them more accessible and responsive to non-profit and public organization priorities, while advancing deep, experiential learning for students and community-engaged research. The position is based in the Swearer Center but works closely with multiple campus units committed to CEDEC. The position develops and manages strategies and systems that scale and connect CEDEC across a growing set of campus partners, which currently include the Annenberg Institute for School Reform, Brown University Library, Center for Computation and Visualization, Data Science Institute, Department of Africana Studies, School of Public Health, School of Professional Studies, and Watson Institute fo...
