GAI is seeking a Transmission Senior Project Engineer 2 to join our Power Delivery team. Required skills include transmission line design experience, critical thinking, problem solving, organization, team-focus, and eagerness to apply learned engineering principles to solve real life problems. The Transmission Senior Project Engineer 2 is responsible for technical leadership and the successful delivery of transmission line designs while maintaining the scope, schedule, budget, and quality of projects within GAI’s Transmission & Distribution Division. This individual should be technically focused and a strong leader with developed technical, communication, and computer skills. Competency: - Knowledge of electric utility transmission line engineering and design. Job Responsibilities: - Complete day-to-day project tasks as required for successful project delivery. Tasks may include: - Preparation of Specification Packages - Preparation of Structural and Fabrication Drawings - Design and Analysis of Transmission Lines using PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and PLS-Tower is a bonus - Design and Analysis of foundations. - Analysis of existing and proposed structures with regard to Client and Other re...
