Quality Assurance Inspector

Job description

Under the supervision of the Quality Supervisor, and guidance of the Quality Lead and Quality Manager, the Quality Inspector performs the Receiving Inspections and the Production Inspections. The Quality inspector will aid the Quality Lead, Quality Supervisor, and Quality Manager in driving continuous improvement with the manufacturing established processes. This position is responsible for visual and dimensional inspection of parts during processes involved in decorating, printing and packing plastic tubes; prepares and updates the QA Set-Up and Line Clearance Approval Form; identifies quality issues and communicates them to peers and supervisory personnel; coordinates quality related corrective actions with QA department and with other supporting departments 1. While utilizing the Production Schedule, prepare and update QA files prior to fabrication 2. Prepares and updates the QA Set-Up and Line Clearance Approval Form and takes necessary and appropriate action. 3.
