Description The Licensing & Compliance Analyst will serve as a critical team member within our Legal Department. She/He will be responsible for providing licensing support to the Trean Insurance Group and its subsidiaries (“Company”) and ensuring that all professional licenses are obtained and kept in good standing. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Applications & Renewals. Prepare and submit initial applications and renewals for insurance licensing and corporate entity registrations (e.g. certificates of authority; Secretary of State filings; and broker, adjuster, reinsurance intermediary, managing general agent, and third-party administrator licenses) in compliance with applicable law, regulations, and company policies. · Annual Reporting. Prepare and submit recurring deliverables and the compliance aspects of tax forms, where appropriate. · Liaison. Cultivate strong relationships and effective communication channels with all relevant parties.
