Staff Accountant (Full-Time) Join Us and Be Apart of The Samaritan Difference! Salary: $64,334.40: What You'll Do: - Reconcile daily cash receipts and disbursements - Analyze monthly activity of assigned general ledger accounts - Prepare monthly journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting - Reconcile balance sheet accounts and adjust associated income statement accounts - Prepare draft income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements - Assist in year-end close - Assist in budgeting and forecasting - Research technical accounting issues to insure appropriate treatment of complex transactions - Support Payroll/Accounts Payable Coordinator - Other duties as assigned - Assist with multiple functions throughout Finance Department - Other duties as assigned What You'll Bring: - 2+ years accounting experience, healthcare experience preferred - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related business field. - Ability to interact with all levels of associates within organization, knowledge of GAAP, analytical and problem solving skills, management skills - Strong computer skills and must be proficient in Excel - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Benefits Incl...
