We have an unmissable opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team in Bedford Companion Care. We are an RCVS accredited small animal practice with x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, haematology, biochemistry, dentistry, and isolation. We are accredited silver cat friendly and rabbit friendly clinic. We believe in a good work life balance and are happy to accommodate a flexible rota. We also have a visiting ophthalmologist and peripatetic surgeon for orthopaedic and advanced soft tissue surgeries. Recently we have started offering laparoscopic spays as part of our commitment to advanced surgical techniques. We are keen on sustainability and use low flow anaesthesia, segregated recycling, and fur clipping recycling (making mats to soak up oil spills). We have achieved outstanding Customer Service and Sustainability Practice Standard Awards and hold a Bronze accreditation in Sustainability with Investors in the Environment. We are looking for an experienced vet who feels confident with routine surgical and medical cases and who enjoys building strong relationships with patients, clients and the wider team.
