Serve as the critical link between process integration, assembly manufacturing, and external vendors. Apply surface chemistry, ALD/PECVD fundamentals, reaction kinetics, and device physics to design, qualify, and scale thin film processes that deliver superior within wafer (WIW) uniformity, edge-of-wafer performance, yield, and cost. Lead structured root cause analysis for film non-uniformity, drift, defectivity, and integration issues. Define and fan out process windows that are manufacturable across multiple tools and sites. Partner with tool and material suppliers to co-develop chamber hardware and precursor delivery improvements. Collaborate with suppliers to test hardware and process techniques with focus on reliability and manufacturability.
