Description Status/Hours: 36 hours/week Evenings and Nights: Job Summary: This position is responsible for accurately collecting and entering patient demographic and insurance information, along with performing additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor. All duties are carried out with a strong emphasis on patient safety, satisfaction, accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism. Responsibilities include: - Professionally receiving and directing telephone calls and inquiries - Greets and assists patients, visitors, and staff entering the hospital - Obtains initial patient information, including demographics and insurance information; reviews and maintains patient data. - Maintaining accurate records, reports, and ongoing logs as requested - Keeping detailed records of all inpatients Why Join Us?: At Cary Medical Center, we take great pride in our workplace culture.
