Work Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation: Union Position: No Department Details: Day time shifts, no holidays. Summary: Provides department assistance by performing a variety of duties, including scanning, data entry, copying, alphabetic and numeric sorting, retrieving documents and medical records, chart pick-up, and other tasks. Requires ability to use a wide variety of office equipment including copy and fax machines, telephone, and PC. Job Description: Utilizes scanning functions to capture images of original documents in the Sanford patient medical record and transfers them to the data management system or Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Accuracy and quality are essential as the EMR becomes the patient's legal medical record for the organization.
