Key Responsibilities: ·Attends to the personal needs of the patients regarding obtaining accurate authorizations - Obtain patient history and vital signs, prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms - Assist with examinations, procedures and treatments - Performs CLIA waived lab tests and obtains specimens - Performs proficiency testing and runs controls for waived tests - May perform venipuncture - Document patient charts accurately - Schedule, coordinate and monitor appointments - Responsible for charging for technical functions, assisting the physician and nurses for all clinical requests, and maintaining all applicable KRMC policies and procedures.
