Adjunct Faculty Introduction to Psychology: Department of Applied Sciences and Professional Studies UMGC Stateside: Location: Eglin Air Force Base, FL University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks adjunct faculty to teach on-site at Eglin Air Force Base, FL , for the Psychology program . Specifically, the following course(s): Course Schedule: Teach at least one day a week; 11am - 12pm (Wednesdays) No weekend teaching: Introduction to Psychology (PSYC 100): A survey of the basic principles, research concepts, and problems in psychological science. The biological, cognitive, and social perspectives of human thought and behavior are addressed. The goal is to apply major concepts and use the scientific method to enhance the understanding of individual, community, and organizational life experiences. Topics include neuroscience, sensation and perception, learning and conditioning, memory, motivation, language and intelligence, personality and social behavior, and psychopathology and therapy.
