Catholic Social Services is currently seeking a part-time, 12 awake and 12 sleep position per week, Community Disability Worker in EDMONTON to join our Tabithas Place team. Providing excellent client-centered care, you are confident, thoughtful, and motivated to achieve success when supporting others in your community. This position has a weekly schedule of: Friday 7-3, Friday night 11 PM to Sat 7 AM (2 awake/6 sleep), and Saturday night 11 PM to 7 AM (2 awake/6 sleep). Total hours are 12 awake and 12 sleep. Job Summary: This dynamic and challenging opportunity will allow you to develop and sharpen skills in behavior management, effective communication, and client focused strategies. With our Agency, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals who have developmental disabilities, complex needs, and mental health diagnosis. In the capacity of Community Disability Worker, you will implement behavior support plans to help individuals learn coping and self-regulation skills, better enabling them to engage in a meaningful way with their peers, and their community.
