Your next opportunity: Based in Berrima and reporting to the Senior Maintenance Engineer , we are seeking an experienced mechanical trade‑qualified professional to join our Cement Plant Maintenance team. This role is responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities across a wide range of fixed plant equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. This is a hands‑on, full‑time permanent role suited to a trade‑qualified Mechanical Fitter with strong mechanical aptitude and experience in heavy industrial environments. The successful candidate must have flexibility to be available over a 7-day period, including shutdowns. What you will do: - Maintain and repair mechanical systems including conveyors, crushers, mills, kilns, fans, gearboxes, pumps, and hydraulic systems - Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, fault finding, and breakdown repairs on fixed plant equipment - Execute maintenance work in accordance with approved maintenance plans, procedures, and engineering standards - Develop and maintain effective working relationships with production and electrical teams - Identify, report, and assist in rectifying equipment defects, s...
