ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reviews underwriting information throughout policy year and approves renewals actions. Performs other related underwriting duties as required or assigned. Travel in territory as needed. - Evaluates new and existing business - Reviews information submitted by producers and brokers. - Evaluates acceptability of risk. - Prepares quotations. - Processes cancellations and non-renewals. - Process policies and determines pricing. - Assures proper set-up of information for policy issuance. - Evaluates coverage being provided. - Reviews descriptions and assures accuracy. - Determines appropriate pricing. - Handles in-force policy underwriting. - Approves endorsement requests from producers. - Approves policy audits. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint Insurance forms, contracts knowledge: Excellent verbal and written communication skills College degree 2 yr. /4 yr.
