Emergency Room (Full-time, Varied Shift) Job Summary: The Manager-Emergency Services provides administrative, human resource, and financial management for designated area that provide direct and indirect patient care for an age-specific population with a defined scope of service. Collaborates with the Director, and Medical Director to manage day-to-day operations in a high-functioning, fast paced emergency department or Advanced Urgent Care (AUC) that treats a culturally diverse patient population presenting with a variety of illnesses and diseases in varying stages and injuries. Utilizes independent judgment and critical thinking skills to manage assigned department. Assesses and re-assesses department status at regular intervals and demonstrates flexibility and adeptly resets priorities based on patient volume. Thoroughly understands and directly oversees compliance with the requirements of emergency services governing agencies in addition to state and federal regulations, LLUMC-Murrieta policies, Medical Staff By-laws & Rules and Regulations.
