The Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is a public sector institution that promotes and develops biomedical research, innovation and teaching at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital . The Biomedical Data Intelligence Unit (BIDU) is a transversal core facility within the Digital Transformation Area , providing expertise in biostatistics, bioinformatics, data science and artificial intelligence applied to biomedical research. BIDU supports research groups across the Vall d’Hebron Campus, ensuring methodological rigor, reproducibility, data governance and quality compliance. The Bioinformatics Technician will provide technical bioinformatics analysis and support to biomedical research projects, working closely with research groups and other BIDU profiles. The role is technical and service-oriented, focused on the execution of bioinformatics analyses, data management tasks and pipeline-based workflows, following established methodologies and procedures, while contributing to a collaborative and innovation-driven research environment.
