The Tasmanian Health Service is seeking interest from suitably qualified applicants for the Tasmanian Anaesthetic Training Program (TATP) Registrar vacancies for 2027. The TATP provides anaesthesia training at all 3 Tasmanian Health Service (THS) hospitals. It has between 35-40 positions each year including up to 8 provisional fellowship positions, with a variable number of vacancies. All trainees in Tasmania are included in the TATP. Positions within the TATP are predominantly length of training positions but may also include shorter-term and fixed-term appointments depending on trainee needs and available positions. Provisional fellowship positions are available in Hobart and Launceston and are advertised separately. The Tasmanian Anaesthetic Training Program Committee (TATPC) represents the 3 participating hospitals in the Tasmanian Anaesthetic Training Program and under the jurisdiction of the Department of Health, Tasmania and the ANZCA Tasmanian Regional Committee General information: The TATP is a state-wide end-to-end anaesthetic training program compliant with ANZCA’s guidelines and curriculum.
