It’s the way you want to be treated. Summary: Review and process insurance claims for reimbursement. Timely follow-up on related correspondence or request for corrected billing. Handle or redirect incoming departmental calls. Interact effectively with co-workers. Other general office duties as assigned. Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent. Excellent customer service skills. Must be a team player. Must have basic computer knowledge and ability to type. Meditech and Cerner systems experience preferred. Must be able to multi-task & perform effectively & efficiently in a fast-paced & high-volume environment. Needs to have a good understanding of medical insurance. Minimum of 1-year previous hospital or medical office medical insurance experience. Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.
