Job Description The Department of Nursing within the Manning College of Nursing and Health Sciences (MCNHS) invites applicants to join our diverse college as a tenure-track Assistant Professor, beginning September 1, 2026. Research experience is required and an established program of research with evidence of external funding is desirable. This tenure track position is designed to improve and strengthen our research portfolio as well as our educational undergraduate and graduate programs. We are particularly interested in faculty applicants with expertise in health policy, aging/gerontology, maternal and child health, mental and behavioral health, community-engaged research, and clinically focused research (i.e. cardiovascular, diabetes, oncology). Applicants must possess an earned research doctorate (in nursing or a related field) and be eligible for RN licensure in Massachusetts. Preference will be given to applicants who have completed a postdoctoral fellowship, established an independent research agenda, demonstrated ability or promise to secure external funding for research, and published peer-reviewed, data-based articles.
