The Medical Assistant will provide essential clinical and administrative support to the Womens Health Service team. Position: Medical Assistant: Department: Women's Health Services: Schedule: 40 Hours (Days): ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES: Works closely with providers to assist in delivering world-class care to patients. Triage all incoming messages appropriately using our current electronic platform Provides direct communicates to patients: Room’s patients and prepares the patient for the provider visit. Takes vital signs as necessary: Accurately record patient information in Electronic Medical Records systems Obtains required consents, completes required forms as needed for specific visit types. Performs office testing as needed. Required to perform controls on certain in office tests. Chaperones Providers as required. assist with procedures as needed Stocks rooms and monitors expiration of supplies in exam rooms. Assists with incoming calls as needed by answering, triaging, and routing telephone calls appropriately as needed.
