Description Job Summary: The Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated Academic General Anesthesiologist to join our expanding team. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide a wide variety of anesthesia care while contributing to the department’s academic, research, and teaching missions. Position Highlights: - Provide anesthesia care for a broad range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties and obstetric care, including labor analgesia and cesarean delivery. - Deliver high-quality perioperative care and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical continuum. - Supervise and teach residents, fellows, and medical students in both clinical and didactic settings. - Participate in departmental academic activities, such as research, quality improvement, and scholarly projects. - Engage in collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical care across the institution.
