Job description

Position Summary: The CDL Road and Range Instructor assists the Dean, works with faculty to promote continuous improvement of the quality of instruction within the assigned program(s), and ensures that daily program requirements are met. Skills/Competencies/Qualifications: - As a faculty member, fulfills all the functions and responsibilities of teaching the assigned course load as directed by the Dean. - Demonstrates excellent teaching qualities and sets a positive example for other faculty regarding appropriate dress, class preparation, punctuality, student assessment, and a student-centered approach to classroom instruction. - Serves as a subject matter expert for students and instructional staff. - Prepares students for success and meets the requirements of the Department of Driver Services & FMCSA ELDT regulations. - Monitors attendance and ensures daily attendance sign-in sheets are accurate and turned in at a timely manner to the Education Manager. - Assists the Dean with the training and development of faculty - Monitors range/road equipment and ensures student safety, and immediately documents and reports safety concerns to the Dean and Campus President - Adheres to and su...
