Who We Are: Westminster, a luxury senior living community located in central Austin, is seeking an experienced and dependable individual to join our skilled nursing team as a PRN Activity Assistant. Who You Are: The Activity Assistant is responsible for assisting with a varied activity program designed to meet the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of the Health Center residents. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assists with coordination and participation at resident parties, cultural activities, special entertainment, day trips, special events, and activities at the bedside where indicated for the resident population. Assists the Activity Director in meeting the needs of all Arbour residents. Performs or guides the movement or transfer of residents to and from recreational areas. Inventories supplies and equipment to determine repair, maintenance needs, and cleanliness. Assists in directing volunteer activities, enlists their support and coordinates their efforts. Provides orientation and supervision of volunteers.
