Shift Time: 8:00am - 4:30pm Job Summary: The Pre-Production Technician is primarily responsible for ensuring that every order that leaves the department is 100% ready with accurate and up to date production information ready for processing. Develop strong customer relations by ensuring that time sensitive jobs are delivered in an appropriate manner. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Data Entry Editing: Ensure that breakage levels in pre-production and tracing/reprocessing meet standards by communication of repetitive errors found to management DVI: Enter lens information into DVI Software Enter/modify pick list/surface lens information. - Ensure all Rx orders are entered properly into DVI through accurate, consistent and efficient editing procedures. Allocate and scan orders to the proper areas once completed. - Receive all orders that have been traced, provide accurate post-edit verification, and forward orders to proper areas once completed. Receiving frames: Ensure that all frames are received to correct orders - Collecting packages from shipping, opening boxes, sorting for receiving. - Receiving frames in DVI software by matching the frame information in the system - Inspe...
