Job description

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to join our Team! Under the general direction of the Imaging Services Manager, performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans. Perform radiological and CT duties in compliance with the Imaging Department and legal requirements. Performs CT imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols. Ensures operation of radiology and computerized tomography equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; and evaluating new equipment and techniques. Maintains radiology and CT supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies. Maintains technical competency through continued education and participation in company-sponsored training programs.
