Job Title: CT Technologist Department: Imaging Location: Massena Hours Per Week: 40 weekly scheduled hours Schedule: 7a-11p, Saturday & Sunday ​ SUMMARY: A CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing and monitoring patients’ medical conditions. This role involves preparing patients for scans, operating advanced imaging machinery, ensuring high-quality images, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients. The CT Tech must follow established protocols, adhere to radiation safety regulations, and work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and optimal patient care. ​ RESPONSIBILITIES: Reads charts, prescriptions and radiology requests to ascertain the existence of valid physician orders for diagnostic computerized tomography procedures. Obtains pertinent clinical information and follows special physician requests noted on prescriptions. Prepares contract media according to physician's order or departmental policy.
