Part time Academic Instructor (HNU 405) Department of Human Nutrition, Faculty of Science Position Description: The Department of Human Nutrition invites applications for a part-time Academic Instructor to teach HNU 405 (Food Availability) (3 credits) during the fall term of the 2026-2027 academic year. This position is subject to final budgetary approval. This course will be taught in-person and will explore the vital issues that surround our national and global food supply from production to consumption. We seek applicants with an advanced degree in Human Nutrition, or in a related field in science such as Health Sciences. Applicants should also demonstrate a record of effective teaching and possess strong communication skills. The successful applicant will show a commitment to supporting and advancing the university’s goals related to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Relevant professional experience and/or evidence of eligibility for registration or licensure with the Nova Scotia Regulator of Dietetics (NSRD) would be considered assets.
