Position Purpose: Maintains hospital campus grounds including snow removal, service vehicles and grounds equipment to assure a safe and pleasant environment of care. What you will do: Maintains the hospital campus grounds in a safe and clean condition. Mows and trims grass to proper seasonal height. Maintains flower beds, trees and shrubs using contract services as needed to supplement own activities. Performs daily rounds of the grounds to inspect for safety and sanitary problems and correct discrepancies. Keeps all walks, roads, and parking lots clear of ice and snow. Maintains and performs minor repairs on engineering vehicles and grounds equipment in a manner that assures their safe and efficient operation. Maintains an adequate level of lawn care supplies and spare parts to assure the ongoing operation of the grounds keeping operations.
