Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Fisk University - Nashville, TN 37208Job Category: EducationThis award is for a Fellow who will follow in the footsteps of iconic Fiskites Diane Nash and the late Congressman John Lewis. The fellow should have demonstrated expertise in policy activism, community-based research, or research in areas such as civil rights, voting rights, health care justice, criminal justice environmental justice, educational justice, or other interventions. Our preference is for an early-career scholar who has both a strong research background and demonstrated record of “community engaged scholarship” or scholar activism that bridges the campus-community divide. We are seeking a scholar who received their doctorate after December 31, 2022 or who is late ABD stage. The fellowship provides up to 24 months of support. This fellowship is part of a new initiative hosted by the John Lewis Center for Social Justice called the Highest Calling Social Justice Initiative.
