The Senior Network Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Job Description: The Senior Network Engineer (Remote Solutions) is responsible for developing and evaluating remote site solutions throughout Humana and its subsidiaries. This role prepares analyses of short-term and long-term capacity requirements for switching, routing, transmission, and signaling. It involves conducting SDWAN network design and testing, as well as feasibility and cost studies. The engineer develops standard solutions and establishes the required sequence of network activities. Site growth and expansion evaluations are conducted to determine the impact on remote services. The Senior Network Engineer actively participates in departmental strategy and makes decisions on moderately complex to highly complex technical issues related to project components.
