Job DetailsJob Location: Marietta, OH 45750Position Type: Flex TimeJob Shift: 8-Hour Day ShiftJob Category: Allied HealthIn an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Audiologist is responsible for providing direct patient services. Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times. Job Functions: Performs quality audiological and hearing aid evaluations. Selects and fits the most appropriate hearing aid for patient as well as assistive listening devices. Independently obtains prior authorization for services provided, orders hearing aids and expands hearing aid sales. Completes documentation in a thorough and professional manner and in accordance with all policies, procedures, and in compliance with ACHC standards. Demonstrates effective teaching skills. Collaborates with other providers to facilitate the optimal outcome for each patient. Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
