Job Type Part-time Description: Position Purpose: Instruct Family Wellness swimming lessons as directed by the Aquatics Manager while maintaining a safe pool environment for students and other patrons. Provide direct leadership to all pool activities under the supervision and guidance of the Aquatics Manager and Aquatics Coordinator. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe pool environment while enforcing Family Wellness rules, policies and safety procedures for members, guests, and employees. Job Specific Competencies: - Develops swimming skills in students and communicates any issues or problems to parents of the participants. Develops bonds with students through consistent attendance and clear expectations. - Responsible for the safety of class participants. - Able to control and discipline students in a positive manner consistent with Family Wellness rules and safety guidelines. - Follows and/or develops lesson plans consistent with Family Wellness lessons that are challenging and appropriate for each class level taught. - Communicates with and provides feedback to Aquatics Manager, Aquatics Coordinator, and Aquatics Lead concerning all relevant programs. - Evaluate...
