Boston Medical Center/ Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine Department of Emergency Medicine Chief Advanced Practice Provider The Department of Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center (BMC)/Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine is seeking a Chief Advanced Practice Provider (APP). The Chief APP is a leadership position that represents the APP staff and provides oversight for all aspects of APP practice within the Department of Emergency Medicine. In addition, the Chief APP provides oversight and direction to the Lead APPs. Reporting directly to the Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs, the Chief APP as part of the clinical operations team works closely with the Medical Director of the ED to identify and execute strategic priorities, especially as it relates to the EM APP staff. The Chief APP works in collaboration with other leaders in the department including the Medical Director of Quality and Patient Safety, EM Residency Program Director, and ED Nursing leadership.
