Job description

This Accounting Co-op Analyst role is tasked with a wide range of responsibilities throughout the SBS General Accounting department. The tasks assigned to this role grant a wide range of experience that includes bank account reconciliation, profit and loss statement analysis, management reporting, and journal voucher creating and uploading. This is a summer internship and would be required to work 37.5 hours per week. Because this role involves access to confidential financial information, the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments. 1. Assist with daily balancing of credit card transactions in US & Canada Stores and associated files received from banking institutions and assist with daily rejects reports. 2. Gather Account Receivable transactions on a weekly basis to reclass to proper GL account string 3.
