Job Description THIS POSITION HAS NO DIRECT MANAGEMENT OR SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: POSITION SUMMARY: The Facility Technician role ensures operational safety and equipment reliability by performing preventative maintenance, assisting with equipment installation/demolition, and maintaining site housekeeping. The position acts as a safety role model by documenting hazards in the GDC database, supporting continuous improvement, and collaborating with contractors to optimize production. KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Follows all company policies regarding safety, quality and attendance. Performs duties in a safe manner and reports all observed safety hazards to management. Acts as a role model for safety on shift. Participates in safety programs by reporting Unsafe Conditions, Unsafe Acts and Close Calls; enters Near Miss data and Observations into Global Data Center Database (GDC) 2. Regularly inspects and maintains production support equipment including but not limited to, Material Handling Systems, wire cutter, oil filling/recovery, conveyor and stretch wrapper. 3.
